My friend Jenn over at RunninMyMouth.com and I run a LOT of races together every year. I’m not an especially good runner, or a fast runner, but I do it anyway. Here I will update my results each time I complete a run. You can see an up-to-date list of my upcoming runs off to the right in the sidebar.

3/17/12 – Kiss Me I’m Irish!
I felt pretty good during this run, but poor Jenn had cracked ribs and STILL ran it!

3/4/12 – Petco 5k9 (Run Walk Wag)
The dogs loved this run! Maybe we should run with them more often…

1/15/12 – PF Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon (Half)
This was my first ever half marathon, and it was a bit rough. We trained for a few months before (we kind of trailed off in December) but my knee wasn’t prepared and gave out at mile 4. BOO. I pretty much limped a run-walk-run from there to the end. BUT, it was still cool to be able to say I did it!

10/8/11 – Frank Kush Das Foot Race
After running this run in terrible heat in 2010, we almost didn’t run this one again. However, the weather was much cooler – I was even a little chilly! I almost bit it just a minute into the run when a kid stepped on the back of my foot and tripped me up. Faceplanting would have sucked, but I managed to recover and not get trampled. And, while it wasn’t much of an improvement, we did beat the previous year’s time of 1:06:04!

9/24/11 – Dirty 6 Mud Run
This was my first ever obstacle-style run and it is run as a team, the point of which is to encourage each other along the way and help each other finish. It was pretty hot, but it was a good time until I started having knee problems at the end. I barely crossed the finish line, and was of course last, for our team Cirque de Sore Legs. Despite that though, it definitely fostered a desire to do more mud runs!
